Today I’d like to share
this call to salvation in the form of a brief pointed message from my dear
brother, colleague and good friend, Carlos R.W. Kirimbai, Founding Pastor of
Manna Tabernacle Bible Church, a thriving, Spirit-filled, non-denominational church,
based in Dar-es-Salaam, Tanzania.
We who have received this
wonderful gift of salvation have the privilege and the responsibility to share
this message with everyone. Jesus commanded us to go into all the
world and preach the Good News to everyone. If you know anyone who needs to
hear this message, please do not hesitate to forward it to them. Let us join my
brother Carlos in sending out this call to salvation via cyberspace.
THE
ONLY WAY TO HEAVEN
Jesus is not one of the
ways to heaven, He is the only way to heaven. He himself said in John 14:6,
Jesus
said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the father
except through me. - John 14:6 NKJV
The writer of the Book of
Acts under the inspiration of the Holy Spirit said:
Nor
is there salvation in any other, for there is no other name under heaven given
among men by which we must be
saved.” - Acts 4:12 NKJV
I had a conversation with someone the other day and in
the course of our exchange this person stated that all religions ultimately
lead to God. Right away I refuted that.

The truth is, not a single religion
leads to God because no religion atoned for our sin and no religion died on the
cross for us. Religion is not the way to heaven, Jesus is the only way. He is
the perfect sinless Son of God who took the sins of the whole world on His body
on the cross and atoned for them all.
Cornelius was a very religious man. He prayed everyday and gave much alms to the poor. In fact the Bible calls him a devout man and one that feared God. But God seeing his heart and sincerity; how he was sincerely wrong, sent an angel to instruct him to call for Peter the apostle who would then speak to him the words of eternal life. Peter came and spoke to him about Jesus and how we are forgiven of our sins when we believe in Him. He opened his heart and life to Jesus and was on his way to heaven. The details of this account are recorded in Acts 10.
No acts of righteousness are good enough to win you a place in heaven, our own righteousness is as filthy rags, we have all sinned and fallen short of God’s glory. Jesus Christ, the Son of God and the Savior of the world, is the Only One who can secure you a place in heaven.
Eternal life is not a wage or salary we earn, it is the free gift of God to all who believe in Jesus Christ.
Religion is man's way of trying to find God. Jesus was, is and will always be God's way of finding man.
Open your heart to Jesus today and receive the assurance of eternal life.
Without Jesus you are doomed for sure. He will sit to judge on the last day and may your name be found in the Lamb's Book of Life.
Make the decision and invite Him into your heart today. Be born again. Be saved!
